Powering Performance Below the Surface

Central Plains Cement Company oil well cements are designed for the extreme temperature and pressure conditions of the oil well environments. CPCC oil well cements meet all applicable requirements of API Specification 10A, such as, predictable thickening time, low viscosity, low free fluid, fluid loss control, and strength. These products are intended for use when special properties are not required. The different classes of API cements for use at down well temperatures and pressures defined below.

Class Types

  • Class C – This product is intended for use when conditions require high early strength.
  • Class G – No additions other than calcium sulfate or water, or both, shall be interground or blended with the clinker during manufacture of Class G well cement. This product is intended for use as basic well cement. Available in MSR grades.
  • Class H – No additions other than calcium sulfate or water, or both, shall be interground or blended with the clinker during manufacture of Class H well cement. This product is intended for use as basic well cement. Available in MSR grades.
