Central Plains Blended Cement

Blended cements are produced by intergrinding or blending Portland cement and a combination of any one or more of the following materials: limestone, slag cement, fly ash, silica fume or other supplementary cementing materials (SCMs). These cements may be used for general construction and are designated as Type IL or IS, for example.
